The Welcome Center Culture team would like to introduce the new course program for PhD and PostDocs, which will give you the opportunity to learn German for everyday life, for academic communication and business communication as well as to discover the German culture and discuss your own experiences in the international sphere.

You will find the information on the different seminars here. Since the program is supported by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), only PhD students and PostDoc fellows of the TU Dresden and the DRESDEN concept partners can take part in the seminars. Some of the courses will be continued, repeated or first offered in the winter semester 2013/2014.

Please note the two different ways for the registration:

For Module 2 (German language course at the TUDIAS) the registration takes place ONLY in person on April 15^th between 5 and 6.30 p.m. at TUDIAS (World Trade Center, Freiberger Straße 37-39, 1. floor, room 119). If you have taken part in any TUDIAS course in 2012, you may register without passing the entry exam. All other interested internationals are kindly asked to join the entry level test at 6.30 p.m. in room 119.

For all the other courses please apply by e-mail to: young.researchers[at]mailbox.tu-dresden.de by giving your full name, your e-mail address, your status (PhD/PostDoc) and either your matriculation number or the name of your supervisor. – The registration will be possible until 14 days before the first lesson.
