The Welcome Center offers a wide variety of
workshops for PhD students and postdoctorate fellows. The
new course program gives the opportunity to learn German
for everyday life, for academic communication and
business communication as well as to discover the German
culture and discuss your own experiences in the
international sphere. It also includes courses on
academic writing and presentation skills in English (for
PhD students, who write their thesis in
English).

Since the program is supported by the DAAD
(German Academic Exchange Service), only PhD students and
PostDoc fellows of the TU Dresden and the DRESDEN concept
partners can take part in the seminars. Some of the
courses will be continued, repeated or first offered in
the winter semester 2013/2014.
Please note the two different ways for the
registration:
For Module 2 (German language course at the
TUDIAS) the registration takes place ONLY in person on
April 15th between 5 and 6.30 p.m. at TUDIAS
(World Trade Center, Freiberger Straße 37-39, 1. floor,
room 119). If you have taken part in any TUDIAS course in
2012, you may register without passing the entry exam.
All other interested internationals are kindly asked to
join the entry level test at 6.30 p.m. in room
119.
For all the other courses please apply by
