Accommodation

Student Dormitories

If you would like to live in a student dormitory, then you may apply for a room at the Studentenwerk Dresden after being admitted to the university.

Please submit the application for a dormitory room as soon as you receive your acceptance letter from the TU Dresden. Include a copy of your acceptance letter in your application. All information concerning student dorms, application procedure, and application forms can be found at the Studentenwerk Dresden website.

Private accomodation

Dresden offers a wide range of apartments and rooms in so-called "Wohngemeinschaften" (WG - flat shares). Rooms in collegiate flat shares are often ready-furnished and may be available for a short period.
To live in a shared flat may be a good alternative to find contact to German students and to get involved in student's life in Dresden.
