The Graduate Academy is the central service unit for early-career researchers. It is your competent contact partner for all questions about the doctoral phase.

Beyond that, we aim to create ideal research and working conditions for doctoral candidates and postdocs university-wide.

By adhering to internationally recognized standards of the highest quality, TU Dresden seeks to prepare our early-career researchers for leading positions in science, economy, and society.

The Graduate Academy offers its members: 

• a qualification program designed explicitly for early-career researchers
• individual advice and information before, during, and after the PhD
• funding programs, e.g., travel awards for conferences or research stays abroad
• events providing the opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange and networking
