The Unit "Research Promotion and Transfer Office"  (SG 5.1) and the "European Project Center" (SG 5.2) inform you continuously about current Funding Programmes of the Federal Government, the federal states (in particular Saxony, e.g. SMWK, SMWA, SLfULG), DFG and the EU, as well as other national and international funding institutions and foundations. By the regular update of funding possibilities and their publication in the "Research News" you will be informed as soon as possible about currently open calls for funding.

We support you in filing an application for third party funded research projects and in negotiating and concluding research contracts. Furthermore, from this web section you can retrieve comprehensive information on practical questions of third party funded research (Directive, Announcement of a research project, Sample Contracts, Protection of Intellecual Property (IP) etc.).

For supporting Open Access Publications TU Dresden has initiated a publication fund. The State and University Library (SLUB Dresden) supports you in according applications.
