Unlock passwordAs part of the modernization of the IT user administration a new identity management system (IDM)was introduced on ZIH at the end of 2012 . At the same time a new password policy was activated. The central IT services at TU Dresden are now supplied exclusively through this system with updated information about user accounts and permissions. All user accounts which have been opened before November 27, 2012 by the ZIH have been automatically migrated to the new IDM system. These users had to confirm their current password until April 15, 2013. For those which did not confirmthe password the user account will be locked on April 23, 2013. Affected users will have the possibility for unlocking until May 6, 2013. Thereforethe password confirmation portal on the page https://idm-service.tu-dresden.de is still open. Please provide login name and password. Once the existing password is confirmed it will be checked for compliance with the new password policy. If the password does not meet the requirements, it will have to be changed.
