E-learning is not just a fashionable topic, but has become part of teaching and learning at the TU Dresden. However, the design, creation, and usage of e-learning offerings are often costly and require special skills. Furthermore, not only educational research tries to understand the current usage of new educational media as well as to predict the future of knowledge work in general.

The Media Center offers consultations, but also practical training, for example, on how to use the web portal TUDWebCMS or the research information system FIS. Additionally, very specific thematic forums such as the ZOPE USER GROUP are supported. We are happy to design and offer scientific events on specific topics within our area of competence.

For professional partners from the e-learning research we have designed our lecture series with TUD players or (inter-)national guests and the newly offered doctoral colloquium.

With our events we want to contribute to several fields of e-learning, but also make the development and use of information and communication technologies an innovation to be understood by both scientists and practioners.
