Directorate 2 - Personnel

The Directorate Personnel is responsible for personnel administration at the entire TUD Dresden University of Technology (excluding the Faculty of Medicine).
The employees of the Directorate Personnel can primarily be reached by e-mail (the responsibilities and e-mail addresses can be found on the following websites [ZIH login required] of the Units and Staff Units). If no direct contact person is known, e-mails can be sent to the functional e-mail addresses at any time.
Tasks
- Contact for personnel-related topics at TU Dresden
- Advice, processing and support in all personnel matters, in particular
- Contractual matters and their implementation (job advertisements, recruitment, continued employment, terminations)
- Accounting for business trips, secondary employment, job tickets, training matters (trainees/interns), prescribed further education and training for employees
- Organizational assignment of all employment relationships in the job plan/organizational chart, management of personnel resources

Sächsisches Hochschulgesetz (SächsHSG)
After an intensive legislative process, the Saxon State Parliament passed the new Sächsisches Hochschulgesetz (SächsHSG) on May 31, 2023.
We are currently working on the implementation of the extensive changes and innovations and will inform you about details as soon as possible.
A1 certificate
A1 secondment certificate mandatory for business trips in the EU, EEA and to Switzerlandand and to United Kingdom!
In line with social security regulations, those traveling for business to another member state of the European Union1, member states of the European Free Trade Association2 or Switzerland and United Kingdom must carry an A1 certificate with them.
