The TU Dresden aims for a diversified modernisation of the internal organisation through an efficient information management. Modern and digital technologies to support business processes of the university shall be established, as well as in area studies and teaching. The appropriate measures are likewise organizationally and technologically oriented.

connection between groups DoIT and PPM

In 2008, initially the project group DoIT (Dresden optimised IT for research, teaching and administration) from ZIH  was established for preparation and implementation of these measures. In the year of 2010, complementary the group Project and Process Management from the Rectorial Board was founded. In close collaboration, both groups carry out the projects TUDo-ERP and TUDo-SLM (TU Dresden optimized).
The graphic shows the relationship between the both groups and the current handled projects. Furthermore, the present subject areas of the projects are definite.
