The Project Management groupinitiates and organises a wide range of activities that help implement effective publicity to present the university. The activities comprise official events hosted by the university directorate, cultural events, publications, multimedia presentations and also the TUD website.
The PM group also plans and organises the The Children’s University Dresden"Kinderuniversitaet Dresden" and coordinates the organisation and preparation of the The Long Night of the Sciences"Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft" for TU Dresden.

The particular focus of the work of the Project Management group is the Corporate Design of TU Dresden. You can download the corporate design rules compiled as a manual and also numerous document templates from our Service Website.

In addition to the building of the University Marketing Unit at Nöthnitzer Straße 4, where 3project managers are working, there are also two other ‚branch offices‘:

Our staff also give any desired information regarding TU Dresden in the information pavilion ""TUD-INFORMATION"" at Mommsenstraße 9 – either in person or over the phone – or they pass visitors of the university on to the right person or department. Moreover they offer current publications and information about TU Dresden, and also some TUD merchandise for sale. Guests are invited to use the ‚Campus-Navigator‘ software on the self-service terminal in the information pavilion. It serves to find ways, buildings etc. on the university campus.

A project manager, who is responsible for Event Management for the Rectorate and Matters of Protocol with the Rector , has his office in the Rectorate at Mommsenstraße 11, among other things she organises events in which the Rectorate of TU Dresden plays a crucial role (e.g., honorary doctorate ceremonies, matriculation ceremonies, investitures, receptions etc.).
This project manager also offers advice on matters of protocol.
