University Assembly

The University Assembly is responsible for making decisions on the fundamental order and its changes. The election of the Rector and the Vice-Rectors is incumbent on the University Assembly as well as the election of 22 Senators from the member groups of the university.
The University Assembly annually discusses the activity report of the Rector´s Board as well as the teaching and research report.
The University Assembly consists of 428 members, among them 215 university professors, 84 academic employees, 84 students and 45 other employees.

Senate

The Senate is responsible for the academic affairs of teaching, studies, post-graduate studies and research, which affect the entire university or are of fundamental importance.
To the  Senate belong the Rector as its President, the Vice-Rectors, the Deans and the members elected by the University Assembly. The Chancellor has the advisory voice. The Senate consists of 40 members entitled to vote, among them 21 professors, 8 academic employees, 8 students, and 3 other members.
