The Faculty of Science at Dresden’s large university
“Technische Universität Dresden” is a multidisciplinary
institution comprising the five departments of Biology,
Chemistry and Food Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and
Psychology.
Each of these five departments represents an important basic
scientific discipline with its own lines of developments,
trends, requirements and tasks, both in knowledge oriented as
well as in applied research.
The Faculty of Science is committed to Humboldt’s Principle of
unity of teaching and research. A continuos development and
adaptation of the curricula to the scientific progress is
therefore our perpetual task.
